કલમ થકી મેં શબ્દો કાગળ પર વહેતા મૂક્યાં,
એ હરેક શબ્દોમાં હૃદયના ભાવ ફરતા મૂક્યાં.
ક્યાંક ખુશીઓથી લથબથ વસંતની વાત કરી,
તો ક્યાંક ભીની યાદોના ઝરણાં ખુલ્લા મૂક્યાં.
કાગળ ! કાગળ જ હતો જ્યારે એ કોરો હતો,
રાઝદાર બન્યો, જ્યારે મેં મનના ભેદ હેઠે મૂક્યાં.
પડ્યા શબ્દો જ્યાં જ્યાં જેની જેની આંખોમાં,
એમણે પ્રેમના જામ આંખોથી છલકાવી મૂક્યાં.
મળી સહાનુભૂતિ સૌની પણ એમની ના મળી,
જેમની આશામાં અમે ચાંદ તારા પડતા મૂક્યાં.
કલમ થકી મેં શબ્દો કાગળ પર વહેતા મૂક્યાં,
એના દીધેલા ઘાવ ને મેં ફરી તાજા કરી મુક્યા.
