ए नादाँ मुसाफ़िर क्या-क्या तूँ लाया
क्या-क्या साथ अपने ले कर जाएगा
ख़ाली हाथ आया ख़ाली हाथ जाएगा
यहाँ का कमाया सब यही छोड़ जाएगा
तेरे अच्छे कमँ ही केवल तेरे साथ जाएँगे
तो कयू न उसे ही पूँजी समज कमाई जाए
फ़ानी धन-दौलत-ज़र-जागीर को कमाए
कौन सुखी हुआ हैं,जो न तो साथ जाए
न कफ़न में समाए न ही दफ़्न भी हो पाए
यहाँ की कमाई यही पर बस काम आए
वहाँ तो अच्छें कमँ ही गर बस साथ जाए
तो कयू न करनी अच्छें कमोँ की कि जाए
पल पल छलनी से छल के कमँ किए जाए
जो यहाँ वहाँ दोनों जहाँ में फ़ल दे पाए.!

कि रूह बन के तेरे बने जिस्म में ढल जाऊं...

कि तेरे सीने में दिल बन के बेतहाशा धडक जाऊँ...

कि मेरी साँस साँस महके सिर्फ़ तेरे ही इश्क के इत्र से...
