God = One Rupee By Subbu

Siva an eight year old boy with a one rupee coin in his hand went to a nearby shop and asked “Could you please give god for one rupee? “the shop keeper got wild and drove him off from there. The innocent boy never lost his heart and visited more than forty shops and faced the same kind of reception everywhere. At last he reached a very big shop where the shop keeper was an old gentleman. When he made the same request to him. The shop keeper asked him sympathetically “My child, why do you need god for one rupee “What you are going to do with him?”

Now the rays of hope flashed in the boy’s eyes. He started speaking”Sir,In this world I do not have anyone else other than my mom, she works the whole day very hard and looks after me.Now she is in the hospital very serious, if she dies then who will look after me.She is very seriously ill. The doctor says that only the god can save her that is why I have asked ,Sir ,can you please give god for one rupee so that I can save my mom. “The old man said ”Ok,dear how much money you are having with you? “The boy said “One rupees, Sir”. The old man said “Please give me that one rupee”. The boy very happily gave that one rupee to the old man.In return the old man gave a glass of pure water to the boy and said “My child, you give this water to your mom, she will get well soon, I am very sure about it”. The boy left the place with the glass of water very happily.

The very next day many specialists visited the hospital where the boy’s mother was admitted and they conducted a surgery for the boy’s mother. The boy’s mother got well within a few days. When the bill came she was shocked to see the amount of the bill it was really ‘BIG’. But the doctor said “Do not worry an old man came and settled the entire bill and he gave a letter for you. “The doctor gave the letter to her. The mother opened the letter and read it.The letter read as follows ‘Do not thank me, if you want to thank anyone you have to thank your little boy who was innocently searching all the shops with a one rupee coin to buy the god. He has got that much confidence within him that the god will save you. So the god saved you and I am only a tool of him.’

If you have trust and belief you can get god even for one rupee!
