I was shocked when I saw my notification bar. It was showing contest of the day: "Talketive". Throughout my schooling, I was taught that the correct spelling is "Talkative" and not what the team Matrubharti gave us. I am not posting to mock anyone, but in 3 months this is the third instance where the contest word is spelt incorrectly. See, this is a community where we all showcase our thoughts and writing. Thus, we expect a certain level of proofreading and standard before publishing the contest word. Thank You.

Totally agreed Dhruv. It doesn't please the writers posting in English and more so lead people into using the incorrect spelling. I hope they will be more careful from now on.

Yes, Sahil. Exactly my point. It makes us feel like they are not taking things seriously. As we all make mistakes, spelling mistakes like this is not acceptable. As they are the ones conducting the whole ordeal. I hope they will avoid making such mistakes in the future. Otherwise, those who take writing seriously; especially in English will flock away somewhere else.

I completely agree with you, there have been a few instances in the past where the word was misspelled. It's fine to make mistakes, but at this level, there should be proper proof-reading before posting the contest words. As there several people are using the word as spelt in the contest without realising it's spelt incorrectly. Hope you (contest organiser) take this a positive feedback! Thank you 😃
